Hungary Student Visa Admission Requirements

Academic Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate: Minimum HSC GPA of 3.0–3.5 out of 5.00
  • Postgraduate: Bachelor’s Degree with at least CGPA 2.5–3.0 out of 4.00

English Proficiency:

  • IELTS: Minimum 6.0 (UG) / 6.5 (PG)
  • Alternatives: TOEFL, PTE, or a Medium of Instruction Certificate / A-Levels

Additional Required Documents:

1.Valid passport (6+ months validity)
2. Passport-size photo (35mm x 45mm)
3.Statement of Purpose (SOP)
4. Two Recommendation Letters (UG & PG)
5. Updated CV/Resume
6. Proof of financial stability: Bank statement showing €15,000–€18,000, valid for at least 6 months
7. Health insurance covering all Schengen countries, with minimum coverage of €30,000

Note: All documents should preferably be presented in original and in English. Originals will be returned after verification. Applications must be submitted at least 14 working days before your intended travel date. The Hungarian Embassy may request additional documents or schedule an interview.
